Air Bed Frame

Looking for an air bed frame?  Air beds are great aren’t they?  They’re so darn cheap and not only that, they’re actually comfortable to sleep in!  You’d think that at under $100 for the mattress that they would not be that good, but there are some companies out there that make some mighty fine inflatable mattresses that are a joy to sleep on. 

It might start out as a temporary sleeping solution, but eventually, you might decide that an air bed is right for you.  If you do decide on this, you may want to get yourself an air bed frame to seal the deal.  Granted, an air bed frame is not needed, but if you’re planning on topping it off, you might just want to pick one up as they’re cheap and make your bed look more finished.

Now when you’re out searching for these frames, you might expect them to be a metal or wooden frame, but a lot of them are frames made out of air as well!  Basically what you do with a lot of these is you inflate your mattress first, then you inflate the frame, and plop the mattress into the frame, presto!  It will give your bed a bit more stability which is good.  Some people feel that when they’re lying on the edge of an inflatable bed that they feel like they’re about to fall off.  If this is what you’re finding, getting a good bed frame should prevent this.  I know I myself love sleeping on the left hand side of the bed and that was one thing that really bothered me.

The frame that you get is usually elevated a bit more at the headrest level than everywhere else by the way and it makes sleeping a little bit more comfortable up there with a pillow.  It also feels a lot more secure when you’re lying on the bed which is something you might actually need in order to fall asleep on one of these beds. 

One great thing about the inflatable air bed frame is that just like the mattress, it is portable.  If you are renting an apartment for instance, this is the perfect bed for you if you’re not sure how long you’re going to be staying there.  You can just deflate the entire bed and frame and take it with you without having to worry about paying any movers to move around some big bulky bed.

This air bed frame is also great for those who are in college and are sharing a room with other people.  Rather than just sleeping on the floor, you can set one of these up and have a bit more dignity.
